Annie and I became frequent taxi" buddies" after discovering at a WACL dinner that we lived around the corner from each other.We shared much laughter, many opinions , and of course gossip on these rides back home, and later in back garden barbeques on sunny days. Her warmth , intelligence , humour and zest are fond memories. What was clearest however in all our conversation was her love for her family , and the closeness she enjoyed. Jane
