I realise I had known Annie for something like 30 years. Thanks entirely to WACL. She was such a life force. I remember once giving Annie a lift home after some WACL gathering or other. I was feeling exhausted and Annie just wasn't - she was full of life, energy and enthusiasm. She was a powerhouse. She was bright, talented, analytical, forthright, sympathetic, clever, liked to laugh and just plain Annie. It is unbearable that she's gone and yet even the last time I saw her she said 'this isn't a tragedy, I'm not 30'. She was brave as well. Annie you will be sorely missed. You were loved by so many. You were just a one off. If heaven needs anything sorted out - they just got lucky. For those of us still on earth - not so much. Bye Annie. And with love Carol R
